APR Welding Academy's 4th Annual Welding Competition

Registration Fee
There is a $20 registration fee for participants in the welding competition. This fee helps cover event costs and includes:

  • A swag bag/goodie bag for each participant
  • A complimentary lunch (choice of a hotdog or hamburger)

Ready to Compete in 2026?

The competition will be held on Saturday July 25th


There will be 3 categories; Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced and Pipe


Beginner: Never taking welding courses other than high school, no work experience as a welder


Intermediate: Have taken a college course, or have welding experience but not working as welder or have worked for less than 6 months as a welder


Advanced: Working as a welder 6+ months


Pipe: Have either taken college pipe, has held a pipe ticket, or is working as a pipe welder
